WORK EXPERIENCE
Matt joined True Wind in 2026. In his role as Operating Advisor, Matt helps accelerate value creation initiatives across True Wind’s portfolio by partnering with both investment teams and portfolio company leadership.
Matt brings 12 years of investing and operating experience. Prior to joining True Wind, Matt served as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Development at Syncro after sourcing and leading Mainsail’s investment in Syncro. While at Mainsail, Matt sourced and executed software investments across IT and healthcare verticals, and partnered with management teams on annual planning, debt raises, M&A, and corporate strategy. He began his finance career in investment banking at Stifel.
EDUCATION
Matt holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Villanova University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Personal Life
An outdoorsman, Matt enjoys backpacking, skiing, mountain biking, and golf in his free time, as well as spending time with his family. If Matt didn’t work in private equity, he would work in space exploration or longevity research.
