WORK EXPERIENCE
As Chief Operating Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and Head of Diversity and Inclusion at True Wind Capital, Nima oversees legal, compliance, human capital, and public relations.
Prior to joining True Wind Capital in 2021, Nima spent 19 years at GoDaddy where she held several leadership roles that contributed to its scale, including Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary. Nima steered GoDaddy through its evolution from an entrepreneurial start-up to a publicly traded company. Through the years she oversaw corporate and regulatory compliance, board governance, M&A, litigation, privacy, intellectual property, and internal audit. She also built a diverse legal department, 68-percent of which was women, and was the executive sponsor of its LatinX In Technology employee resource group.
In 2016, Nima was recognized as one of the Most Influential Women in Arizona Business by AZ Business and Outstanding In-House Counsel of the Year by the State Bar of Arizona. She is the holder of four patents pertaining to internet-based business.
EDUCATION
Nima holds a B.A. in Political Science from Gettysburg College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
Personal Life
When she’s not working, Nima enjoys tackling difficult jigsaw puzzles, needlework, golfing, and going on long hikes. If she didn’t have a day job, Nima would join the field crew for the New York Yankees, be a stagehand for the Metropolitan Opera, drive a zamboni for the New York Rangers, or work at an animal shelter.
