WORK EXPERIENCE
Rufina was True Wind’s original Chief Financial Officer, having joined the firm in 2015. In August 2025, she became an Advisor to the current Chief Financial Officer, Jamie Brown.
Earlier in her career, Rufina led the accounting department at Discovery Digital Networks (DDN) and oversaw accounting and operations integration workstreams for both DDN acquisitions and DDN’s acquisition by Discovery Communications. Prior to DDN, she worked at The Blackstone Group where she focused on portfolio accounting and investor reporting for private equity funds. She began her career in the Audit and Assurance practice for Deloitte and Touche, serving technology clients.
EDUCATION
Rufina holds a B.S. in Accounting from Santa Clara University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the 2004 O. Robert Anderson Award.
Personal Life
In her spare time, Rufina enjoys traveling with her kids and reading.
